Brazilian Air Force Selects StandardAero to Support PT6A-68C Engines Powering its A-29 Super Tucano Fleet
StandardAero, a leading independent pure-play provider of aerospace engine aftermarket services, has been selected by the Brazilian Air Force (Força Aérea Brasileira) to provide maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services for the Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-68C engines powering its fleet of Embraer A-29A and A-29B Super Tucano aircraft.
The Brazilian Air Force utilizes the A-29 Super Tucano for a variety of roles, including training, air interception and surveillance missions. The type is also flown by the service’s Air Demonstration Squadron (EDA), also known as ‘Smoke Squadron.’ Read more...

Deutsche Aircraft, a leading regional aircraft manufacturer, has announced the appointment of Nico Neumann as Co-CEO alongside current CEO, Dave Jackson. Neumann will guide Deutsche Aircraft through its next phase, delivering the D328eco® aircraft to market by 2027. This role is part of a managed transition, with Neumann set to assume full CEO responsibilities for the Deutsche Aircraft-operated businesses in Munich and Leipzig by mid-2025. Each year brings a host of new Falcon developments, and 2025 is no exception. The Falcon Maintenance & Operations Seminar Series is the best way to stay current. The tour will kick off in Paris on April 2-3 and then go to Phoenix, AZ May 6-7 and Nashville, TN May 28-29. The final stop will be in São Paulo, Brazil June 4. Look for updates as we get closer.
Embraer Defense and Security chooses Fokker Services Group for C-390M aircraft modification package
Fokker Services Group ("FSG"), an independent aerospace service provider, announced today at the NIDV Exhibition Defence & Security (NEDS) event that it has been chosen by Embraer Defense & Security for an extended modification package including turnkey engineering, certification and modification services for nine C-390M military aircraft.
These modifications will prepare the aircraft for use as tactical transport for Special Operations of NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization), fulfilling a broad range of military and humanitarian missions. The final operating configuration will be the most extensive C-390M version once delivered and will be far beyond ‘just’ a transport aircraft. Read more...
