IAMA Update and Achievements

IAMA, the Independent Aircraft Modifier Alliance, aims to encourage aircraft owners and operators to modify and modernise their fleets through implementation of retrofit programs that apply IAMA standards, irrespective of which IAMA members provide the engineering services.
Through their team's dedicated efforts in education, networking, and standardization, IAMA is progressing with the standardization of Modification Projects. IAMA has already endorsed 8 STCs.

Deutsche Aircraft partners with Toulouse-Based Airplane Painter for professional stripping and painting of the D328® Fleet

Engineering Bulletin for the use of Turbonycoil in Engines, APU or IDG

Some airlines are introducing Turbonycoil of the Nyco company in France. This can be Turbonycoil 600 or 640 for use in the engines, APU or IDG.
Although the Engine / APU / IDG manufacturer may have approved this oil for your airline to use, you may need to install, for example, the placards TS600S1 / TS600S2 guiding your maintenance crew for the correct oil type during refill / top-up.
Fokker Services can create an Engineering Bulletin to formalize the installation of these placards, including the supplements for the AMM/IPC.
