StandardAero Signed As An Authorized Starlink Dealer For Business Aircraft Operators

StandardAero, a leading provider of business aircraft maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services, has reached an agreement with SpaceX’s Starlink to become an authorized dealer and installer of the company’s high speed internet product onboard select business jet aircraft.

Starlink’s recent approvals for FAA supplemental type certificates (STCs) apply to Gulfstream G450 (GIV-X), Gulfstream GV, Gulfstream G550 (GV-SP), Gulfstream G650, Gulfstream G650ER, Bombardier Global Express, Bombardier Global Express XRS and Bombardier Global 6000 aircraft.

Fokker Services Group has been appointed on an exclusive basis to market a Fokker 70 aircraft previously operated by The Netherland’s Government.

During the last 7 years this Fokker 70, now registered VH-KBX, has been operated and maintained by Alliance Airlines as a VIP aircraft in essentially the same configuration as used by its previous owner, The Netherlands’ government. Alliance Airlines, in the Australian continent, is the largest operator of Fokker aircraft globally.

While Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) play a crucial role in achieving climate-neutral aviation, investments in e-fuel production in the European Economic Area (EEA) are still lacking in ambition. In response to this, German aircraft OEM Deutsche Aircraft, Energi i Nord (North Energy Cluster), BLU (Bodø Lufthavnutvikling) and Bodø Municipality hosted a two-day conference to discuss scaling up e-fuel production capacity with key stakeholders from the energy and aviation industries on April 24 and 25.

Duncan Aviation modernizes dated CL300

Duncan Aviation’s full-service maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility in Provo, Utah, took a dated CL300 and transformed it to look like a brand new aircraft. The aircraft was at the Duncan Aviation Provo facility for a pre-purchase evaluation and work began immediately after the purchase transaction was completed. The aircraft received a new interior, partial paint, and minor maintenance work before being delivered to a happy customer.
