Cabin Configuration: PMV Engineering obtained the privilege to issue and approve certain supplemental type-certificates (STC) under its EASA DOA

Following the review of test projects , EASA granted PMV Engineering the privilege to issue eligible STCs and approval of major changes related to cabin reconfiguration from a zero passenger layout to an approved seating configuration.
This additional PMV Engineering’s DOA privilege will allow Airlines or Lessors facing shortage of passengers’ seats at time of Aircraft assembly line exit to achieve a standard configuration in a short period of time.
From now on, PMV Engineering is then be able to cope with these modifications in few days rather than few months previously.

StandardAero Receives CAAC Certification For RB211-535 MRO Services

StandardAero has received Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) certification approval for its Rolls-Royce RB211-535 turbofan engine maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) services.
This approval enables StandardAero to provide RB211-535 MRO support to Chinese operators of the Boeing 757, who collectively fly approximately 70 aircraft, or almost 20 percent of the in-service RB211-535 fleet.

SAF UP; CO2 DOWN AT DASSAULT - Committing to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF)

SAF is still not easy to find, but it’s increasingly used at Dassault’s main locations, typically at a 30 percent blend. The company is using it at Paris-Le Bourget, Little Rock, AR and Bordeaux-Mérignac, performing 412 flights on SAF last year, saving 680 metric tons of CO2. Dassault plans to have SAF soon at its Istres flight testing facility and Teterboro, NJ for all demo flights.
